How important is a kid’s routine

Our favorite topics are those of our children. These beautiful little creatures suddenly come into our lives and change us completely. These creatures for which we have been responsible for many, many years. And we have so much to show them, so much to learn!!!
Our babies
They come into our lives and make us create a new routine for their lives (and ours of course !!!). From the hours we breastfeed them to the least of their daily lives.
You gave birth to your baby and finally entered the house and hold it in your hands. But now what do you do? Your whole life has changed and you are just beginning to realize it. The best thing to do is to start gradually shaping the daily life of the family and especially this small existence. You have so much to do! And in addition, there is a little creature that depends on you!
The daily routine
Many question the value of the program. But when we say that the baby should eat every 3 hours, isn’t that a plan? Routine for the babies themselves, but also for the mom? The truth, then, is that the program is very much loved by children from their infancy.
An infant has entered into a process of planning his daily life and this is something that creates great confidence and security for him. He knows he will cry, or suck his fingers or a toy to ask for his milk. He has realized that this is the way he communicates with us and the way he gets what he needs at that moment. Then he knows that the loving embrace with the wonderful caresses will follow until it flows.
Then when he is still in infancy he will fall asleep, or if he is a little older he will need to play. He will hear his mom sing to him, he will do everything he needs until it is time to take his nap again. All this is a given that constitutes his routine, his daily life, and his program. How much it would be confusing if a different flow was followed permanently every day!
Why routine and schedule
In the planned environment an infant/child feels very safe in his space, his environment, and himself. Also, his anxiety is reduced, because yes (!) They also have their anxieties. There will be many times when the program will need to be differentiated. However, they realize the difference and in the following days/hours it is good to try to get back to our routine.

The “robots”
I often hear them say “but they are not robots” and I wonder if anyone has ever told them about the importance of planning and routine… After all, we as adults, with or without children, have a routine that makes us put our daily routine in the classroom. Whether it concerns our rest, housework, cooking, or reading to children. Once we comment from work we want to go home to rest, eat, do our chores, or whatever we like.
All of this makes us feel safe even if we do not realize it. Let us also not forget that most women on Saturday will go shopping for the week and clean the house. Even if it is not planning and routine! So what is the absurdity of helping our children get their routine?

The benefits are at any age
The daily routine is very important for children of all ages. Babies and young children learn how to do things and feel more confident and secure. Older children create their routine for their reading, activities, and everything they need to do. Thus, as adults, they can easily plan their work and housework. They will also learn to manage their time and have less stress.
Our things and knowledge are constantly evolving. It will be good to expand our horizons and accept that the program serves all members of a family. What if we are talking about children or babies? They also have their own needs, their wants, and their insecurities. Let’s look at the children with more care, with more understanding of their needs. Let’s show them the way to shape their daily habits. When something changes and takes them out of their routine we can show them how to get back to it.
Because things and knowledge are constantly evolving, it is advisable to broaden our horizons and accept that the routine helps all members of a family. What about children or infants?
